Masks & public health
As of 2025-09-10, we do not intend to require face masks at BSDCan 2026. We reserve the right to add a mask requirement if we become aware of a significant increase in infectious disease spread (COVID, Influenza, Measles, etc.) based on public health monitoring; in the unlikely event that this happens, we will post an update here and on the bsdcan-announce mailing list providing the reasons for the change. Masks continue to be recommended, especially for immunocompromised attendees and in larger sessions.
If you have questions about this policy, please contact us before booking flights and hotels.
