Secretary of the FreeBSD Core Team, Vice-President of the Hungarian BSD Association, FreeBSD Ports Developer, organizer of BSD-Days and FreeBSD Developer Summits all over Europe, former member of the FreeBSD Documentation Project from Hungary.

A former game engine programmer at Invictus Games Ltd., now a "free" software developer. A freelance special translator of English and Hungarian in Informatics and Mathematics, who also holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj Napoca, Romania. As an assistant lecturer at Department of Programming Languages and Compilers, Eötvös Lóránd University, Budapest, Hungary, he is mainly interested in the teaching, appreciating and mastering the declarative programming approach, contemporary functional and language-oriented programming.

In his free time he enjoys hiking, swimming, drawing, consuming fine Chinese and Japanese teas, struggling with the French language, reading books on philosophy, aesthetics, history and science, visiting other countries and learn from other cultures.
