Tom Jones
Tom Jones is a Systems Engineer from the Shining Granite City of Aberdeen in Scotland. He is a contributor to the IETF and has written RFCs documenting the UDP API and increasing the MTU in the Internet. Since escaping academia at the end of 2021 he has been doing development on FreeBSD and worrying about performance issues. He claims to be 1/8th of the BSDNow news show and for reasons unknowable he choses to run and cycle ultra endurance distances.
