Hi folks!
I have booked a room at Les Suites. Is anyone else over there?
Also I've noticed quite a few Ottawa websites that are in French. Are there a lot of French speaking people in Ottawa?

Yes, lots. You'll hear it anytime you get away from the conference. Virtually any retail person will speak French. Where I work, over the river in Gatineau (Hull), more people speak French than English.
All conference proceeding will be conducted in English. University of Ottawa is very French.
