George Rosamond

George is one of the coordinators of the New York City *BSD User Group (http://www.nycbug.org/) and is a long-time BSD user, administrator with some small development contributions. He has been a part of the BSD Certification Group (http://www.bsdcertification.org) since the beginning.

Besides maintaining a colocation business and doing sysadmin work, he's been engrossed in privacy/anonymity technologies well before the Snowden disclosures. His activities most recently culminated in the launch of The Tor BSD Diversity Project (https://torbsd.github.io) in March 2015 with his cohort Attila, with a the flagship project of porting Tor Browser to OpenBSD. TDP maintains a number of other smaller projects, such as "Porting PETs" and guides for configuring Tor relays on FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
