Pierre Pronchery
IT-Security specialist and NetBSD developer. Also writing an Operating System, DeforaOS, for over ten years now.
Pierre Pronchery has been consulting as an IT-Security specialist for several years. More importantly, he believes in the necessity and qualities of the Open Source software model. Impassioned by Operating System design and development, he became a NetBSD developer while combining this system with the user interface of the DeforaOS project, on which he has been working since his first years as a university student.
Freelance, currently based in Berlin, he's also co-founded a few start-ups in France and Germany, of which the Paris-based CKAB delves into Open Hardware development and the Internet of Things.
