1. Q: I have never contributed to any of the BSDs, but I am interested in becoming a contributor and in learning more about the BSDs in general. I've used FreeBSD as my primary desktop for the past two years or so, and I think the conference sounds like a lot of fun.

   I am a software engineer and enjoy working on various personal projects in my spare time.

   Would I be welcome to attend the conference?

   A: Yes, of course. Anyone is welcome to attend regardless of experience.
